Fun in the Sun @ MDO

Their day started out in the bouncehouses!!

As you can tell the cast is slowing her down immensely....

Then off to play with the bouncy balls & hula hoops.

Happy Mother's Day to me!!

Morgan took a couple of bad tumbles right before Mother's Day. We took her to her pediatrician who recommended x-rays. The x-rays showed a small 'greenstick' fracture on the top of her left radius (forearm).

She was then sent to a pediatric orthopedic who recommended a cast. When they asked her what color, she said "pooh-pool."

The cast is not slowing her down a bit unfortunately. We are just waiting 'til she figures out it can double as a weapon. She hasn't exhibited any pain either luckily. She will have it for 4 weeks.

MayFest

Morgan was 2 'hares' tall at this year's MayFest.

Our first stop was the petting farm of course. "Look Mom, a goat...can I touch it??"

Ah, baby chicks & ducks....

"Quack! Quack!"

We couldn't pass up the playground.

We met Elsie the Borden cow & her calf, Beau.

Morgan got to pick her own pet rock.

Then she got to paint it!

We saw the ducks before the duck races started.

Last, we got a snowcone. I think it was more than Morgan could handle. She was wiped out & was sound asleep in her stroller before we got back to the car.

Next year will be even better since she'll be a bit bigger & can do more on her own.

FW Zoo & Joe's Crab Shack

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo about 2 weeks ago to meet up with our friends Heston & Liberty.

We checked out the new MOLA exhibit.

The wagon was perfect for Morgan & Liberty to ride together.

The aquariums in the MOLA were awesome!

The turtle is getting closer!! Back up Liberty!!

Hey, wait a sec....only 2 of us fit!!

After the zoo, Morgan & Heston had a dinner date @ Joe's Crab Shack.
