Christmas Day

"All for me??"

"Honey, Mommy needs coffee..."

"Oh, ice cream....much better!"

"What? You mean the stroller isn't for me to ride in??"

We went out for one last romp in the snow.

"Mommy, why is my butt cold??"

"Daddy, enough with the snowballs!"

Today was the very first White Christmas for both Morgan & myself. I look forward to many more yet to come.

Christmas Eve

We started out our day by visiting my Mom, Morgan's grandmother Suzanne, in her nursing home in Fort Worth. Morgan loved the dozens of trees they had set up.

She wore her Christmas dress & passed out 'Reindeer' candy canes to the staff & residents of the home.

She was hooked on this manager scene.

While we were there, the snow started. Morgan dropped her bag of candy canes & ran to the window!

By the time we got home, we had snow to play in!

Aunt Heather protected Morgan from a fierce snowball attack from her Daddy.

My little eskimo....

After a long NAPLESS day, Morgan passed out very early & Santa got to work.

ICE! ICE! Baby....

Aunt Heather & I decided to take Morgan to see ICE! @ the Gaylord. The theme this year is Dr. Seuss & I'm a HUGE fan!

Morgan loved see all of the lights & decorations in the lobby.

"OOhh...trains!!"

World's largest Gingerbread House. It smelled so good!

Morgan chasing the train back & forth....

'Follow the snowflakes to the ICE!'

"OK, I'm ready!!"

"You gotta be kidding me!"

It was so cold (9 degrees) that Morgan had to 'taste' it to believe it.

Aunt Heather took Morgan up the stairs to ride the ice slide.

However, they would not let Morgan ride down on Heather's lap. So Heather came down first to catch Morgan...

Morgan came down all by herself & got stuck halfway. She was so cute. She started waving her arms & legs like she was making a snow angel to propel herself down. It was definitely a 'Ralphie' moment from 'A Christmas Story.'

The End

Opening presents - Round One!

Since we had Taylor for Thanksgiving this year, that unfortunately means we do not get her for Christmas......so......we had Christmas a week early!!
The girls help Daddy get a warm fire started.

They open presents from Grandma & Grandpa Bresnahan that were left here for them from their visit during Thanksgiving. The Alvin sings & dances...

Morgan is getting good at ripping things open!

She stops every once in a while to see what Taylor is opening.

It didn't take long to get all their gifts open & to make a mess.

Here she is actually trying to steal one of Taylor's gifts but she is busted quickly!

Both girls received an engraved musical bell ornament. Morgan can't decide where to put hers.

We eventually have to move hers to the top of the tree because I found it under the TV, in the garbage can & various other places....

This kid will eat anything!

We love mussels & eat them about once a week.

Half the fun is getting it out of the shell.

My mussel eatin' fool.....

Christmas Crafts & Cookies!

We decided to have the big kids over to make ornaments, decorate cookies & make pizzas for dinner. Isn't Kierstin too cute??
The picture frames came out adorable.

Venessa, the super mom....

Taylor needing absolutely no help at all...

Morgan & Heston had their own little party.
