Morgan's First Sandbox!

I took her shoes off because they were filling up with sand. Apparently she does not like the feeling of warm sand between her toes unlike her Mama.

I actually had to put her shoes back on so she would stop whining & start playing again.

After the Butterfly Garden we went for a walk outside to enjoy the beautiful day & Botanical Gardens.

Now that the kids are gone & they have the log all to themselves, Morgan would rather play in the dirt.

Kansas City Trip!

March Madness was taking place in KC while we were there.
The weather was pretty dreay & gray but it made for great pictures!

I thought this Andy Warhol mural with the old school Western Auto sign in the background was a cool shot.

Great restuarant in the Crown Center that had trains deliver your order to your table. Hours of entertainment for Morgan.

We conned my sister into spending her birthday, March 6th, with us.

Small HoneyBee Swarm...

Morgan has 2 friends, Rhys & Ryan, that she met in utero. When I was pregnant I joined an Expecting Club for August 08 Mommies. There I met Ashley B & Ashley S.

Rhys & Ryan get together pretty often but unfortunately Morgan & I aren't quite as lucky.

They came out to The Parks mall 2 weeks ago so that was perfect for us!!

We checked out the new bouncehouse in the old Steve & Barry's store. They had fun but I think it would have been a little better if they were just a bit bigger.

19 Months - going on 19 years...

The title says it all! I'm not quite sure where she gets the independent "I can do it myself" stubborn streak from??

She feeds herself, tries to dress herself & does her own hair. If I turn my back on her she will also climb out of the bathtub, lay on her towel & wrap herself up in it.

She goes up & down the stairs all day long. I don't even bother shutting the baby gates anymore unless we have company.

She sits on her potty & says "pee-pee" but nothing ever happens.

She says "mine, no, up pease, puppy, Momma, Daddy, Tayla, bye-bye, uh-oh, kitty, turtle, Dora & SpongeBob!"

She can also sign "more" & "please." Those she must have picked up from Mother's day Out because I tried for months & she never caught on.

She should be driving soon....
