Our heach house only had a shower so we had to compromise for her bath time.
Next morning, we headed back to the beach.
Then we headed down to the seawall.
First some shopping @ Murdoch's. For those whom haven't been back to Galveston since Hurricane Ike, this building was the old Hooters that had just opened.
Next to the Aquarium @ Moody Gardens.
Michelle, Mommy, Morgan & Anne.
Some of our friends met up with us @ the aquarium & brought thier kiddos. Morgan & Maddie looking at the penguins.
Then back to the beach before dark. The tide was much easier for Morgan to deal with in the evenings.
"Wait for me Mommy!"
The next day we headed down to "The Strand" for sightseeing & lunch. This restaurant is right at the edge of the port.
Morgan eyeballing the big boats behind the restaurant.
Several buildings down here had markers from Hurricane Ike. We took a pic under this one so we could get an idea of just how high the water came...about 10 feet here.
I'm currently a Stay-At-Home-Mom. Steve and I got married in June of 07 and I inherited a wonderful stepdaughter, Taylor, who is 8 years old. We found out 6 months after our wedding that we were pregnant. Morgan was born in July of 08 and is a marvelous addition to our family.
