Morgan's First Craft @ MDO!!

Happy 13 Months Morgan!!

Morgan had a blast at Garrett's birthday party out at a campground at Joe Pool Lake. His Mom, Debi, is so creative and set up little fun stations for the babies to enjoy. This was the "Beach Camp." Mo & Gracie loved the sandbox!

The "Bubble Camp" kept all the babies intrigued for hours. I even heard that the juice tasted very good. Adrien was an expert bubble maker by the end of the party!

They played on mats under the pavillion & gave the ants a run for their money with the snacks that hit the floor. Somehow they tasted much better than the clean snacks on our plates! Heston decided it was time to start crawling!

Thanks Debi, Zane & Garrett for a great party & Debi, I will be hiring you as my party organizer for next year!!

After a great party, we met friends at our favorite sushi place for dinner. Morgan has decided that I take too long sorting out the ingredients of her California Roll for her. She found a faster way to do it! She devoured 2 rolls, 2 crabmeat puffs, salmon, shrimp, rice, oranges & grapes.

That was all after stuffing herself silly @ Garrett's party!!

At 13 months, she can do a lot. One thing she still isn't doing though is walking. She can stand up on her own in the middle of a room. She's become very independent after starting MDO. She'll play all by herself for extended periods of time. She climbs up & down the stairs & probably would ALL DAY LONG if we let her. She "reads." She'll sit with a book, flip pages & babble while doing so.

Morgan's First Day @ Mother's Day Out!

So, Morgan went to Mother's Day Out this morning. She cried when I dropped her off but it didn't take long for her to calm down.

However, her teacher called & she didn't make it through the whole day but she did very well. She was upset off & on but really enjoyed the playground & was having fun during lunch when I arrived to pick her up.

We left before nap & she even waved "Bye" to her teachers and friends which she NEVER does without lots of prodding from everyone.

Tomorrow we'll make it through the whole day. I have faith in us!

"Take Me Out To The Ballgame.."

Morgan went to her first ballgame @ the AirHogs Stadium. As you can see, she was a little overwhelmed at first but really enjoyed herself once she realized everything was OK.

We were in a suite at the stadium which was very nice.

She had BBQ, cookies & her first cotton candy.

12 Month Check-Up!!

OK, I am way behind here. I have over 100 pics from her party thanks to my great friends: Venessa, Elizabeth, Ashley & Glenn. As soon as I go through them, I'll post some. Her party was a huge success & we were surrounded by lots of great family & friends!!



She had her check-up today. She is slowing down in her growth, only 20 lbs, 28.5 inches & a little 18 inch head. Now, I have to find a biking helmet that small. Most start at 19.5 inches...the hunt is on!!
