What a Big Girl!!

Morgan had her 6 month check up today. She has gained exactly 2 lbs & 2 inches. So, she weighed in @ 16 lbs 1 oz & 25.5 inches. She's doing well & ready to eat all kinds of food & take on the world!!

We had lunch with friends yesterday & Mo set up in the highchair like a big girl!

Boy will I be glad when I don't have to lug her & her carseat around everywhere...hmm...I wonder how she would do in the grocery cart seat??

Happy Half-Birthday To Me!!

Party, Party, Parrrttttyyyy!!

Another weekend with big sister, Taylor!!

Morgan was invited to and attended her very first birthday party for her friend. A few of her other friends from Stroller Strides were there too! They all had a blast....toys as far as the eye can see.......

"Yes baby, I see you and your pretty little pink bow too!"

Headbands & Hamhocks!!

We had fun at our playdate yesterday. We learned how to make headbands but the babies really just enjoyed playing with the spools of ribbon!

Oh.....poor Morgan. The one thing I was hoping I would not pass on to you was my hamhocks!! Do they make Bumbos for the babies with a little extra "junk in the trunk?" (It's actually my favorite part of her next to her cute little toothless grin!)

After our playdate & then lunch with friends, I was pooped. Morgan laid in her cradle for an hour & talked to the ceiling, her lovey & her toes. Then I moved her to our bed & laid down with her. I'm not sure how long it took her to fall asleep because I did first. I had my hand on her belly so I would know if she moved & when I woke, she had her hand on top of mine with her fingers wrapped around one of mine....ahh...so sweet.....I had to sneak out of bed & get my camera!!

What a week!!

Wow...I have never been so glad to get back into our old routine in my life! We started our Stroller Strides class back up after 2 weeks off for the holidays & boy did we really miss our friends!! Plus...they all grew huge over Christmas!!

EDIT:OK, it was brought to my attn that I said our friends had gotten huge over the break....I meant Morgan's friends, the babies, not us Mommas!! I promise Amy!! All of my friends were looking as hot as ever!!



We've added bananas & carrots to Morgan's menu & as you can imagine...she totally digs the bananas best. Hmm...don't know where she gets a sweet tooth from.....hee-hee.

Melody sent this pic that she took probably late October/early November when it was still warm enough to have lunch on the patio.....oh wait...this is Texas. We could have done that Friday, right??

New Year's Day!

Well, our year is off to a good start! We had dinner on New Year's Day with our friends at our favorite sushi place.

Silly Taylor is always good for a laugh!!

Morgan was introduced to a new food - Peas!! She loves them. Now, she is eating sweet potatoes & peas once or twice a day. She likes playing with it almost as much as eating it.
